A 35-year-old man, identified as Dushyant Pandey, was found dead in his home in Kota, Rajasthan, after allegedly taking his own life. Police said he left behind an eight-page suicide note naming four individuals who allegedly harassed him over financial matters.
What Happened?
Dushyant, a private-sector employee living with his parents and sisters, went into his room on Thursday afternoon and didn’t come out.
By Friday morning, his father became concerned as the room remained locked and unresponsive. He informed the police.
Police broke open the door and found Dushyant hanging from a ceiling fan, said Borkheda Police Station Circle Inspector Devesh Bhardwaj.
Suicide Note Names Four for Alleged Harassment
In his note, Dushyant accused the following individuals of financial torture:
- Narendra Nagar
- Ravi Tiwari
- Shankar Rai
- Rambhagat
Police said the note indicates ongoing monetary stress and mentions cheque bounce cases that may have contributed to his mental distress.
Investigation Underway
A case has been registered, and police are investigating the exact circumstances surrounding Dushyant’s death and the role of those named in the note. The body was handed over to the family after post-mortem.
