Trump Warns Iran: ‘Make a Deal Before It’s Too Late’

US President Donald Trump has warned Iran to agree to a nuclear deal soon—or face more severe attacks from Israel. On Friday, he wrote on Truth Social, “There has already been great death and destruction,” and added, “Iran must make a deal, before there is nothing left… JUST DO IT, BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE.” He emphasized that the “next already planned attacks [will be] even more brutal.”

Door to Diplomacy Still Open

Despite his strong warning, Trump left room for negotiation. As the president who took pride in having “no wars” during his first term, he now seems keen to avoid entering one during his second. Nevertheless, he made it clear that Iran must act quickly.

Iran Responds with Missile Strikes

Meanwhile, tensions escalated further as Iran launched another wave of missile attacks on Israel. Several people were injured in Tel Aviv. At the same time, explosions were heard in Tehran after 78 people died in Israeli strikes earlier on Friday morning.

Trump Knew About Israeli Strikes

Trump revealed that he had prior knowledge of Israel’s “preemptive” attacks. Later that day, he spoke with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu over the phone. Furthermore, Trump attended a National Security Council meeting at the White House Situation Room. An aide shared a photo showing Trump walking through the West Wing, looking stern and serious.

Mixed Messages from Trump

Earlier, Trump said he had “given Iran chance after chance to make a deal.” In a conversation with ABC News, he praised Israel’s actions, saying, “I think it’s been excellent. And there’s more to come. A lot more.”

However, during another interview with NBC, he took a softer stance. He noted, “They missed the opportunity to make a deal. Now, they may have another opportunity. We’ll see.”
