A shocking video circulating on social media shows a youth precariously hanging from the exterior of a speeding train, holding onto the hand of a fellow passenger. The daring stunt, captured in a 1:10-minute clip, is reportedly from Uttar Pradesh and features a train traveling from Kasganj to Kanpur.
A Dangerous Stunt Averted Disaster
In the video, the young man is seen clinging to the outside of the train for nearly a minute. During this nerve-wracking 56-second sequence, he holds onto another passenger’s hand as the train speeds along the tracks. Fortunately, the train eventually comes to a stop—possibly due to someone activating the emergency chain—allowing the youth to safely dismount. Although he appears to sustain some injuries, the timely halt of the train prevented what could have been a fatal accident.
Authorities Called to Investigate
The incident has drawn immediate attention online, prompting ADG Zone Kanpur to tag the Government Railway Police (GRP) of Uttar Pradesh on the micro-blogging platform X (formerly Twitter). GRP UP, in turn, directed SP GRP Agra to review the matter. SP GRP Agra confirmed that the GRP Farrukhabad police station had been instructed to take necessary action. However, as of now, there have been no further reports of police intervention.
