Following US President Donald Trump’s laudation of Elon Musk while addressing Congress, Maye Musk expressed pride on X. On seeing a post by Mario Nawfal as a video, Maye simply commented, “Elon, Proud mom.”
While delivering his address at Capitol Hill on March 4, 2025, President Trump thanked Elon Musk’s efforts in the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). Trump said, “Thank you, Elon, you are working very hard. Everyone appreciates it, even this side.” He lauded Musk’s initiative to streamline government work and reduce wasteful spending, especially in the energy department. The comment attracted divergent reactions with Republican members applauding but most Democrats being mum.

Maye Musk showed no signs of lessening her pride as she posted a video of Elon Musk at the event, originally shared by Tesla Owners Silicon Valley. She captioned it with, ‘Proud mom’, where the video called her son a ‘national treasure’.

In another post, Maye Musk shared a moment of her travel experience, and it was discovered that she flew on Air Force One with Elon and her grandson, X. To a picture of herself, Elon, and X, she commented, “X, elonmusk, and I flew in Air Force One, then in the enormous helicopter Marine One. A fantastic experience. Thank you @realDonaldTrump.”
Recently, Maye Musk announced her son’s meeting with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi with great enthusiasm. She posted two updates about the encounter. In one of them, posted by X user DogeDesigner, there was a video of the encounter with a caption, “Breaking: Elon Musk met with Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi today in Washington.” Quoting the post, Maye Musk announced her affection for her grandchildren with the text, “Love my grandchildren” followed by three heart emojis.
