Political Turmoil in Serbia Escalates
This shocking incident reflects Serbia’s deepening political crisis. For months, anti-corruption protests have challenged the populist government. Now, tensions have reached a boiling point within the parliament itself.

According to Serbian media, lawmakers also hurled eggs and water bottles. Additionally, a live TV broadcast showed thick black and pink smoke filling the chamber, creating a dramatic scene. Notably, Serbian parliament has witnessed violent clashes in the past, particularly since the introduction of multi-party democracy in 1990.
