CBSE announces psychological counselling from today

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced on Sunday the introduction of psychological counseling facilities for students and parents, effective January 1, 2024. This initiative is in line with the previously disclosed exam schedule for practical and theory papers, starting on January 1 and February 15, 2024, respectively.
According to a press note from the Central Board of Secondary Education, counseling facilities in 2024 will include:
IVRS (Interactive Voice Response System): A toll-free IVRS facility will be accessible 24×7 on the Board’s toll-free number 1800-11-8004. This service provides information and suggestions on stress-free exam preparation, time and stress management, Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs), and important contact details of CBSE offices, available in both Hindi and English.
The press note emphasized CBSE’s continuous commitment to providing psychological counseling to students and parents for the past 26 years. The Board has utilized innovative methods such as toll-free tele-counseling, IVRS, and various social media platforms, including YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram, to actively engage with students.
This initiative aims to support students and parents during the exam period, offering guidance on managing stress and ensuring a positive and conducive environment for preparation
