Talking about Dadri, 75 computer operators joined the strike and staged a sit-in regarding their pending demands.
People who reached Saral Centre in the morning could not get the work related to land copy, fard, registry, driving licence, and RC done. More than 600 people had to return without getting the work done. Apart from this, work was disrupted due to the strike by operators posted in the DC office, SDM office, Panchayat department office, and other departments.District Computer Professionals Association President Ajay Sheoran said that the operators have been struggling for their legitimate demands for the last 15 years, but the government is continuously ignoring their demands. Therefore, on November 26th and 27th, a memorandum was sent to the Chief Minister through all the party and opposition MLAs of the state. Still, the government did not accept the demands. Due to this, they had to go on strike on December 11. The district head said that even before this, he had organised a symbolic strike of three hours in November. There are many demands made by the computer operators, like budget provisions should be made by centralising DITS; posts about all working employees should be created; all the employees sent to HKRNL should be posted back to DITS; service security should be provided until 58 years of age; and equal pay and facilities should be provided until the rule for regularisation is made.
