On Sunday, Minister Pratap Singh Khachariyawas put forth the demand and said that the Election Commission of India should decide where the elections are scheduled, and the investigating agencies should not come to influence the elections. He said, “The Election Commission is bigger than the central agencies. Therefore, the country should come forward against the central agencies. The Prime Minister of the country brings plans for the country at the time of elections, this affects the elections. Therefore, the Election Commission of India should take action on such plans and announcements.”
Khachariyawas said that prominent leaders of BJP came to Rajasthan but no leader said anything about doing something special. He said, “BJP leaders give statements with abusive words in their mouths. BJP is responsible for inflation, rising prices of petrol and diesel, not providing 2 crore jobs and weakening of the rupee. BJP wants to win elections only through slogans and management. But the public will not forgive the behaviour of BJP.”
