Mapusa Police arrested a man from Belgavi with 11 grams of cocaine worth Rs 1 lakh on Saturday.
A narcotics raid was conducted and the accused was caught red-handed said PSI Bablo S Parab on Saturday.
Meanwhile, the accused has been identified as Zaheer Sheikh who hails from Veerbhadranagar.
Moreover, PI Paresh Naik led the team under the supervision of SDPO Mapusa, Jiviba Dalvi. A case has been also registered under section 21 (b) of the NDPS Act.
However, further investigation into the case is underway.
